Male candidates are required to wear half-sleeve shirts or t-shirts and avoid full-sleeve shirts, elaborate or embroidered clothing, kurta pajamas, and baggy pockets. They should also wear conventional trousers or pants and chappals or sandals, as shoes are not allowed in the examination hall.


Female candidates should also wear half-sleeve clothing, avoid loud or elaborate clothing, jewelry, and high heels, and wear chappals or sandals.


Additionally, candidates of certain religions are allowed to wear customary dress, such as a burqa for female Muslim candidates or a kirpan, kada, and kangha for Sikh candidates.


All candidates are prohibited from bringing electronic items, packed or unpacked food and water bottles, and personal items such as wallets, belts, and cameras into the examination hall.


They must also carry their admit cards, a proforma with a postcard-size photo attached, and a passport-size photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet on the day of the exam.
